Overview

Industrial hygiene looks inside the workplace rather than at the environment around it. We measure worker exposure to dust, chemicals, noise and other hazards, and compare the results with recognised occupational exposure limits.

The findings feed your health and safety management system and, where exposure is too high, the controls that bring it down.

When you need it

  • Workers handle dusts, fumes or chemicals, or work in noisy areas.
  • A client, auditor or insurer has asked for exposure data.
  • You are commissioning a new process or changing an existing one.

What we deliver

  • Personal exposure monitoringDust, fumes, gases and vapours in the breathing zone.
  • Workplace noiseArea surveys and personal noise dose.
  • Indoor air qualityFor offices and enclosed workplaces.
  • Exposure assessment reportResults against exposure limits, with recommended controls.
